Yes, they come out but it can be a bit of challenge. Feel along the bottom edge of the seat cushion, along the floor and see if you can feel where the seat clips into the floor. Then use your knee and push against the cushion at that spot while lifting up at the same time. It will take a few tries and there will be two clips, one on the drivers side and one on the passengers. Once the clips are loose you can just lift up the cushion and push it up towards the backrest and it will come free. Good luck.

There is a retainer under the front of the rear seat cushion. Use a flat blade screw driver to press the retainer toward the rear of the car while lifting up on the front of the seat cushion. The seat cushion should lift up and then come out.
