1987s came with 2.8 2wheel and four wheel,also with 4.3 2wheel and four wheel if it has a shifter on the floor that says 4hi and 4lo it is eour wheel drive cant tell you without the vin #for sure
Just look at the front axle if it has a differantal on it it's probley a 4x4
They made them in both 2 by and 4 by. Look at the floor console. See if there is a small stick there. Push button wasn't an option in 87. and if your still not convinced look under the front end and see if there is a pumpkin on the front axle.
