its because of its feature! and most celebrities and rich people luv iti own a shop,and actually its the combination of both on these vehicles they try to combine luxury and comfort in to a 4 wheel drive vehicle,there more luxury then off road though,a good ten year old jeep will go places these wont even try to go,i know i have had the chance to try it with both types of vehicles,and the jeep won out ,but it wont out ride the rover as far as riding good,they did alright with range rovers though,there a fair combination of both,good luck i hope this helps.

Okay its time for the truth. Range Rovers are a blend of both Luxury and Off-road ability. This newer model, the ones that succeeded the 2000 models are more geared towards luxury than off-road capabilities.Where can i here a old record-sweet temptation-by ernie ford?
This is not true for all Range Rovers, the 2000s and before were very competent 4x4s. I know because I owned one, in my life I have owned two Range Rovers, one 1995 Country LWB and a 2000 4.6 HSE. Both were very capable and contrary to Dodge Man, greatly exceeded the ability of most jeeps.
But Land Rover and Jeep are competent off-road vehicles I would agree though that Range Rovers are no longer geared towards off-road. However they still excel at it more so than Chevy and Ford's respective 4x4 models. Jeep currently is the frontrunner in the 4x4 category.

However, Land Rover as a whole fields a better lineup. The Land Rover Defender, is by far the greatest 4x4 off-road specific vehicle ever created. It is hands-down. It is the most popular 4x4, followed by the Toyota Land Cruiser, then the Jeep Cherokee or Jeep Wrangler. The Defender is no longer made in the United States due to Emissions and Safety issues. But without a doubt the best.
