Find the brake light switch on the brake pedal, disconnect the plug and check for a feed with a test light, if there is no feed, go for the fuse, if there is a feed then bridge the wires together, if the lights come on then the switch is faulty, if they don't come on then the globes are blown, if the globes arn't blown then take the car to an auto elec, it means you have a wiring problem.
