It would be easier to get the full regulator ( motor ) mate as the cables are spring loaded and once you mess with them they are never right again . The new reg will just bolt into place and connect to the glass ... There should be a hole in the glass and a plastic peg goes thru it and locks on with a clip.. good luck.
