Question:
I am planning to replace the stock rims on a 2005 Honda Pilot LX with rims from a Pilot EX. I'm told the TPMS light will be lit all the time if you do not have the sensors attached. Are they on the inside or outside of the rim and how are they removed? Thanks.

the tpms sensors are attatched to the back of the valve stem.they are easy to replace and easy to break so be carefulHow much do you think Infinity G35 Coupe 2006 will cost in 2 or 3 years?
most cars use the anti lock brake system to monitor tire pressure. So there is no actual connection to the rims to monitor the pressure, the sensors measure how many times the wheel spins at a certain speed and according to the math a tire is either correctly inflated, underinflated or overinflated. Because tires get "taller" and "shorter" when they have different amounts of air in them.'clicking' under the hood when start my truck?
If they're anything like the Ridgeline, they're on the outside of the rim. It looks like the base of the valve stem. No idea how you'd remove it. I guess you could just find the fuse for it and pull that. The sensors are normally part of the valve stem and are on the inside of the wheel. If you can swap them to the new wheels, you will be fine.
