Check the rear window seal.Stains on the package deck are an indication.Many g.m.'s of this vintage are bad about this . That is where water gets into the trunk -causing rustout. My '71 lemans had this problem even though it was a desert car.The trunk side wells would fill with 5-6 inchs. of water during a day of moderate rain.
