How do I reset a viper alarm on my mitsubishi galant 01,?

Question:
The viper alarm completely disabled my car now I can't get the alarm to shut off nor get my car to start.

Answers:

Sparkplug firing order, 1989 peugeot 505 turbo gas, 2.2 liter engine.?

Open the door and insert key into ignition, turn key to ignition position. Then locate valet button and press and hold, the alarm should stop and disarm.
