The best way to bleed a cooling system out cheaply is to purchase a coolant funnel that attaches to the radiator cap mount. it rises above the engine & forces air to come out the radiator by gravity & flow of coolant. just keep the coolant in the funnel above egine level & it'll bleed fine.

If you want to bleed the rad then you top it up with the coolant, and leave the rad cap open, start the car, and let the cars temp reach mid. While waiting for this, you will notice that the car will "burp" and spew out coolant from where the cap should be, this is normal, its just releasing air, keep topping up as needed, until the coolant is sitting level ontop and is no longer "burping".
