The aerial on my Volkswagon Passat has broken off does anyone know if I can just replace the stem?

Depending on the year you own, the last one I replaced I released it from the car and cut the cable where it broke. Then purchased the new one which came with the cable. You use electrical tape and place the new connection beside the cable you cut and tape them together with the electrical tape. Then from the radio end slowly pull the cable and have a friend feed the new cable as you pull it through.

yes you can just re[lace the stem go t your nearest garage or shop e.g halfords or something and ask for one it hasnt got to be for a certain car most of them fit good luck
