Question:
Could someone please explain to me how GM can claim the best coverage in america, despite the fact the Hyundai has a better warranty on their cars. I was looking for some fine print that explained it, but I could find any.

i am getting a honda Odessy does anyone have any comments about this car?
You can go to http://www.gm.com/warranty , and click on "Compare Our Warranty", to see to some degree how GM's warranty compares to Hyundai's and others.According to GM's own comparison numbers, the advantages by GM is their courtesy transportation, fully transferrable warranty (Hyundai partial), and OnStar service. Depending on how important these advantages are, you may or may not view GM as the best warranty.
The "no deductible" column is misleading... Hyundai does not have any deductibles on their main warranties, like all other manufacturers. The Protection Plan mentioned is a more comprehensive coverage that offers things like courtesy transportation, transferrable warranties, and longer non-deductible coverage on bumper-to-bumper parts.
But as you noticed, Hyundai does have better coverage on the all the major warranties (powertrain, roadside, bumper-to-bumper aka basic, rust), therefore, their claim to "America's Best Warranty."
