I have had this Suburban for about 3 years now, it has 120k miles on it, and everytime I make a stop, it turns off right when I step on the gas. It also does this on turns or even just by shifting the gear from park. I have had this problem for about 2 years now and I have taken it to the auto shop to have it checked and they said nothing is wrong with it and that it is in perfect condition. Does anyone know anything about this problem or have/had this problem?

Based on the information provided, I would guess you are having some type of fuel problem. I would suggest you test the fuel pressure at idle and under load (you'll probably need an assistant for that part.) Fuel pressure testers should be available at any major auto parts store.Does abs work while not braking IE hard accelerate wheelspin?
Any idea on the maintenance history of the fuel filter? They can become clogged and cause fuel pressure drops, though it is more commonly noticeable in TBI style setups. If the fuel filter has been clogged for any length of time, it can strain the fuel pump and cause it to become "weak" and thus not be able to provide adequate pressures.

It could also be a faulty fuel pressure regulator.
