Question:
my 52 plate 206 decided to start shuddering on me today, the engine diognostics light came on and started beeping like crazy so i turned straight round and got home, when i went out to the car 30 mins later everything seemed to be as normal no light and it drove as it should do (no shuddering), can anyone help?

I had this problem when i had a 206. I took it to a dealer who said that there was nothing wrong with the car. But they did say that sometimes the catalytic converter may send the wrong signal to the ECU (Engine control unit) that would make the warning lights on the car go funny. Stopping the car then restarting it later like we both did. Resets the engine's ECU and the problem goes away.My car ran fine for 2 years afterwards till i gto rid of it.
