Is it possible to get air conditioning fitted to a BMW that has not got air conditioning?

There is a piece that is white that has to be pulled on the bottom (under the vehicle) on the transmission cable holder.. but if you have issues getting into park, you may need to make sure it isn't other things as sometimes the shifter tube breaks in the steering column and will do the same thing (and you will have issues shifting into all the gears)
