How can i test my fuel pump on a 1995 dodge ram van 2500?

FIRST THING I WOULD CHECK IS THE FUSE OR RELAY FOR THE PUMP MAKE SURE THE RELAY IS WORKING OR TRY SWITCHING W/ ANOTHER RELAY,SINCE YOU CAN'T GET TO CONNECTOR ON TOP OF THE TANK W/OUT DROPPING IT,THE NEXT BEST THING TO DO IS FIND A SOFT HAMMER OR A RED BRICK,HIT THE GAS TANKJUST UNDER NEATH THE PUMP HIT IT SEVERAL TIMES THIS COULD SOMETIMES MAKE THE PUMP COME ALIVE AGAIN.IF THE PUMPWORKS AFTER DOING THIS THEN IT'S TIME TO REPLACE THE PUMP.HOPE THIS HELPS.

brother is not your fuel pump but your ignition coil I have a van similar to yours and it did the samething and it surely was my coil , good luck buddy.
