BMW E46 remote key battery dead?
yesYes very very expensive. It is essentially rebuilding the motor. If you must have this done then obviously something has gone terribly wrong and you will probably need to change the crank and possibly the cam and possibly have a scratch on the block/cylinder walls. Try looking into buying a replacement engine for about 4-5 K. Jasper makes a common replacement engine. Not sure if they are any good.
What is age diff between hritik & suzzane?
Not necessarily, but there are a lot of factors involved. To just drop the Pan and replace rod bearings is a job that can be done in a day by a competent mechanic. However, once the pan is off, the damage/wear may be out of tolerance and then you are looking at a rebuild. You mention that the rods need to be replaced also, and that requires removal of the heads which makes the job bigger. Probably about 10 hours of labor. Again when you open up a worn engine you could be opening a can of worms which is why most shops will quote a rebuild instead of piecing the job upward every time they discover something new that needs to be replaced.
I have a 1983 cj7 with 5spd and dana 300. which is the best method/gear selection for flat towing?
These guys know more about this than I do, but based on my knowledge, they are correct. With the thought of a rebuild, I'd suggest just buying a new car. You could pick up a '95-'97 Z28 in fair condition for about as much as your rebuild would cost. That, or try to find an engine on Ebay. As strange as that sounds, sometimes you can find a good deal on a used LT1/LS1, pulled from a Camaro/Firebird/Corvette by an owner who wanted something bigger.Looking for acura tl headlight (driver side?
Good luck.
Should i get a Mazda speed 3 07 instead of the subaru impreza wrx 07 (not STI)?
The cost isn't that much for the parts, but the time and tools needed for a job done properly can be. It's honestly not a job for a novice... not trying to upset anyone, but if the tolerances aren't checked and correct... you are wasting your time and money. For the cost of paying someone else for a rebuild... you can buy a new crate engine from GM with a warranty on it. The engine swap is a much less complex project!More Questions & Answers ...
