Will an 89 chevy 4.3 litre fit into a k5 Blazer ?

The engine is out of an 89 Chevy s10 blazer, and i would like to know if it will fit into a k5 blazer that has a 700 auto trans. The k5 blazer did have a 5.7 litre before so I'm not sure if the bolt pattern is the same or not.

The 4.3 is basically just the rear 6 cylinders of the 5.7 V8. The bolt pattern and the motor mounts are the same.

why would you want to replace the 350, it also has the 700r4 tranny, the 4.3L also uses the 700r4. in the long run the 350 will last longer, with more torque and power
