Question:
does anyone know about this part? I had it "fixed" for my check engine light last Thursday. I got it back after paying 220.00 and I didnt even get it home and the light was back on. So I took it back and they again said the problem was fixed. I guess a sensor and something else? is what I already paid for...well I took it back cause the light was still on and now they are saying they need to replace the valve (which is what I thought they were supposed to do to begin with) but now its going to be another 220.00 should I have to pay this or not? If you need more info please contact me thru here. please I need help!

He should have verified the repair first...How do you clean dirty INJECTORS...?
Usually on most cars, it's either the EGR (not too often), the vaccum line or regulator (not too often), DPFE sensor that measures how much it's opening (very common fault) or the tube/passage way into the intake is blocked (second most common concern)
What do you think of the 2007 ford mustang gt ?
Find out what he changed and get him to explain it to you...
If not, I think you'd have better luck at spending the $200 at the dealer and making sure it's fixed IMO
Anyone know what a 67 jaguar roadster in good ruining condition is worth. (rough estimate.)?
And I'm surprised Autozone is selling DPFE's now... made too much money off of misdiagnosis by the parts guys and customers replacing EGR valves for the sensor (which I find the aftermarket ones being the ones Ford had problems with in the first place and has changed designs to correct)
I have a 1993 BMW 320i sedan. can i use a universal Catalytic Converter?
If they replaced the egr valve once you should not have to pay to have it replaced again a week later. $220 sounds expensive the part is around $40 to $50 at auto zone. Can you syphine gas from a 2002 monte carlo? I think it happened to me?
usually the DPFE sensor will go before the egr valve, sounds like the garage is ripping you off, I have owned 2 explorers and this is the major cause of them, the dpfe sensor will give the same code as the egr valve. Autozone sells them for around $30 very easy to install maybe you could get one of the workers to put it on for you, takes about 30 seconds to doHow much do you know about a 1993 Pontiac Bonneville?
Call your repair guy and let him know if he charges you ,you will call the burro of automotive Repairs and turn him in.Either the dpfe sensor is bad, or the egr system is blocked with carbon.
