1985 Jeep Wagoneer, electrical problem?

Question:
When I accelerate it is fine, but on the engine breaking thelights dim and the radio resets.... also, sometimes the acceleration is a bit choppy unless I floor it.

Can anyone give me information on this part number, 993803 from the late 60's early 70's for Chevrolet.

i mechanic for a living ,and you might have an alternator going out on it,,you can take it by any auto zone and have it checked free of charge,and they can do it on the car also,,it would be a lot better to do this than to spend a lot of money on things ,by guess work,and it will save a lot of time also,,they can tell you if its charging good or not,,id also check all the ground wires real good they may be loose or corroded,,good luck hope this help,s.happy new years.
