What's a "sexier" car - the Honda Civic (sedan) or Mazda 3?
Fitting air con to a car that didnt come with it as a factory fit is a nightmare. Although youve seen other cars exactly the same as yours with it, it doesnt mean its something easy to do.Youve got numerous modifications to make to attach it to your existing auxiliary belt and pulleys to power it, then you need to cut into your vents to channel the air, and you need all the cooling pipes to run in the right areas and the flow to go near your radiator. Normally a cars "plumbing" would be designed round the aircon, but as your car didnt have it you'll have to move things all over the place to get a unit from the exact same car to fit.
It really is a job for a professional.
What motor can I use for a 67 Cuda. Is the 360 o.k.?
p.s. dont get rid of the Manta they are classic cars in their own right, and are becoming rare.
Labor only - how much to install a starter in a 1988 grand am?
I think there are some shops that may be able to help in Dallas area. Or you can search on line if you are not close to Dallas. I remember this from when I wanted A/C in a 1969 car I had. I got an A/C from a junk yard that fit my car and it did not work so well. a new one installed professionally may cost $1500-2000, it is worth it. Mine ended up costing that much and did not work so well so it is best to go new.More Questions & Answers ...
