Is anyone having problems wih gmc suburban fuel pumps , year 2000 2001 and 2002.?

Question:

Answers:

What would be better piping?

This pretty typical with all GM trucks, starting from the mid 90's well into the 2000's. The pumps fail prematurely due to excessive heat buildup by the pump motor. The OE ones seem to fail quickly, especially in fleet applications. Around 80,000 miles problems begin to arise. This starts with hard starting when the vehicle sits. What the pump is doing is bleeding off pressure when it sits. Another cause is the fuel pressure regulator diagphram failing also.
