I have a 1993 ford escort and my heater is not working?

i have a 1993 ford escort and my heater is not working when i was messsing with my fuse box snd started to switch fuses, it worked for 10 seconds and turned back off, but all the fuses are still good. what can it be?

I assume you mean the blower isn't working. Turn on the ignition and the heater and blower controls, above where the passenger's feet would be is the blower motor. There is a white plug with a single blue wire coming out. Wiggle and see if blower starts. if it does unplug the connectors and see if the terminals are burning. Otherwise you'll need to test the connector that plugs into the motor for power and track back to the fuse panel for an open.

OH I know this! I have a 95 and the heater stopper working because water runs into the fan motor from the windshield cowel and first causes it to run noisy and later stop working. The heater motor is easy to replace. I got one from a junkyard for $5.
