I want to recharge my a/c in my 95 chevy lumina where is low pressure valve???
I own a shop, and build a lot of engines. Headers are designed to let the air flow out of the engine at a better rate, thus giving you more horsepower & torque. More horsepower and torque always equals better fuel mileage. This is why people use headers. As for the deeper sound; It will inprove the sound some, but don't expect to hear a big difference. Most of your sound is acheived by the muffler and tailpipes you have on the vehicle. If you don't already have a cross over pipe that connects both sides to each other, then I would add one such as an X pipe, or the T type. This will allow the sound of both sides to come out one side, thus giving it a better sound.Glad to help out, Good Luck!
What is the yellow arrow on my dash above the steering wheel?
i own a shop and even though that engine was designed to have a certain amount of back flow to it,this shouldn't hurt it none, its not going to add much horse power to it though not as much as it would an older engine, because all the newer ones was designed to run with back pressure, good luck i hope this helps.More Questions & Answers ...
