How do you turn off the rev limiter on a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500?

Dodgeman is right, the limiter is built into the computer; But while you are driving and you want to lay into it all you have to do is turn the key forward and hold it there. The car will still run, the starter will not kick on, it disables the rev limiter and speed limiter, but the radio and such will not work until the key is put back in the on position. This works for all 2001+ DCX vehicles. Good luck!!

i own a shop,and its built in to the computer on it,on this one,you can get around it though,but it will void the warranty if you ever take it in and they scan it ,the warranty is no good anymore,but its built in to the computer ,that controls the ignition,that show it controls the rpm,s on it,good luck,hope this helps.

you would have to get a superchip, or another product that can tap into your cars onboard computer. with the superchip all you need to do is go through the menu and select rpms.
