BTW, Honda is the world's largest manufacturer of internal combustion engines, and is a world leader in internal combustion engine engineering. And as an engine manufacturer, Hondas are world reknown for their reliability. One might argue that the Honda engine is singularly the most reliable component within their vehicles.
Does anybody know any sites where i can find aftermarket parts for my 2006 ford fusion?
Historically, Honda has made more 4 cylinder motors than 6. However, Honda has a stellar reputation with its proven line of SOHC VTEC 'J' series V6 motors. The J35 (3.5L in the Ridgeline) has a record for being a very robust engine. Versions of that same motor are found in the Honda Odyssey, Pilot, Ridgeline, and in the Acura RL, MDX, and TL Type S.
What do you think of the new next generation BMW M3?
One argument in favor of the V6 over the 4 cylinder version would be that the larger displacement motor will work less hard in any given model...turning fewer RPMs, and suffering less wear.
I do not have much experience with V6 Honda engines because it's very rare in the Singapore market. One thing I can say is that Honda is more famous for their inline fours. My personal favourite is K20 DOHC i-VTEC. But there are 2 variants to the K20 in the Asian market. One is 160BHP the other is 225BHP.
What Does "SXT" stand for on the Dodge Dakota?
Surprisingly, the fuel consumption is good too. the 160BHP K20 can hit 16km/litre while the 225BHP BHP K20 can achieve 12km.litre. Few engines can achieve such power output to fuel consumption proportion. Although the 225BHP K20 produces such high power output for a NA engine, it has potential to be tuned to 250 to 260 BHP. It breaks the 100BHP/1000cc barrier for a NA engine besides the BMW M series engines.

The new 1.8 litre SOHC i-VTEC engine is also worth mentioning. 140BHP - 18km/litre. That is really a breakthrough in fuel consumption technology. Available in the new Civic VTI.

I would go with 4 cylinder one, it's more fuel efficient and has about the same power as a V6 engine if you drive it the right way.. (It depends on how the driver drives the car soon after the car is purchased.)What is the best colour for Jeep BMW ?
The v6 in the ridgeline will be extremely reliable, although I'd have to say the inline fours are just Honda's forte. You can't go wrong with proven quality. The MDX v6's havent had issues so I doubt the ridgeline will be any different in years to come.
honda is known for having one of the best 4 banger engine on the market. but it being a honda it will be reliable either way
the 4 cylinder is more common for suping up for racing but the v-6 is a good everyday engine
