SR20 and Tranny?

Question:
Will a SR20 motor bolt up to a stock automatic transmission that came bolted to a 1992 KA24DE?

If you are refering to the 92 KA24DE rear drive transmission to a SR20, it wil not work. The bell housing bolt pattern is different.

Need help on 91 jetta w/ 1.8l engine,idling issue.?

I dont konw for sure but i realy realy doubt it. certain tranies are built for certain engines.
