AOD Lock-up in Drive for Towing?
I have this exact car! Buy it! I love it, But ask the owner when he replaced parts on the cooling system. Unless you got a lot of money (which I assume you may have a budget since your getting a 9yr old car) you should learn how to work on it yourself or you will be paying alot of labor costs for some pretty simple DIYs. Some pretty standard stuff is the engine fan, thermostat, and other various cooling system parts. If your gonna do some add ons this is a great car for it. As far as gas, on the OBC i get 24mpg average. If you know nothing about cars and don't know a throttle body from an intake manifold then you may want to get a car that will be cheaper in the repair department.I love the 3 series bemmer and it truely is a great car. Well it depends on how many miles are on the car. They are extremely expensive to work on and they tend to have more and more problems as they age. so it just depends on how many miles it has on it.
