it may look cool to put bigger rims on your ride, but when you put bigger rims on you are going to have to put lower profile tires on so they fit. the lower profile tires will make the car not ride as smooth as it did with the stock tires on it. i went from 16 to 18 inch rims on my trans am and doesnt like hitting bumps at all, its gonna stiffen your ride up. so if you can deal with a bumpier ride then do itI bought a hot rod and don't know much about it. I would like to know more about the engine.?
the main thing is it makes gas mpg go down slightly, not too much u prolly will not even notice. 2) u have to watch for every little hole in the road and becareful not to hit b/c it will bend the rim and u will have to buy a new one 3) if u do get them, i suggest u take them off every winter all winter b/c of the weather it bad on them and they are more easily damaged 4) as them being a "good move"- if u wanna waste ur money on them its not bad.1995 gmc sonoma turbochargers?
It's okay, remember to lowering the car.Besides the obvious comfort problems.If you put larger rims on and dont compensate the tire profile, the speedometer will be off and you will get a false reading. A larger tire doesnt make a full cycle as fast as a smaller one remember...
