A Rep states diesel could be coming in to the US in 08...anybody else heard anything?

I am holding out for the hybrid diesels...the only thing the engine does is runs the generator to charge the batteries (the unit can use a shoreline charger also) and the drive motors are located in each wheel...the first ones should be showing up in 2010. I heard about the Audi and yes the fuel economy sounds good, but I would wait to hear it from an independent source and not just from the maker. Look for the 'real world' reports for the mileage.

The Diesel is supposed to come in the new Q7 first in 08'. Then if it does good theres talk about putting the twin turbo V-10 diesel into the A8 like it is in England but thats only talk no "for sure" on that yet.
