Any Wrangler Pros & Cons?

Question:
I wish to keep my 04 wnglr for a long time. Any suggestions? I do believe in maintenance and I am used to japonese cars. The wrangler on the other hand, I believe is one of a kind and I finally own one. Now let me know how to keep it running good for a long time.

By comparison to Japanese cars, the Wrangler is prehistoric.
Nonetheless, it's good fun and I love 'em.

Keep it serviced regularly, and consider how and where you use it, even if it is a jeep.often times four wheel drive just means you're further from help when you get stuck...

Keep the vehicle maintained, i.e. oil changes every 3,000 miles, change the airfilter every couple oil changes, have a full service lube done every other oil change, and have the transmission fluid changed every 55,000 miles (automatic transmission). The Wrangler is not even close to being Japanese so don't even compare it to one of those wannabe vehicles.

The Wrangler was built for offroad use, and is the only 4WD that doesn't come with a "not for severe offroad use" warning label.

Are Range Rover's still produced, weren't they part of Rover?

i own repair shop, and i also own one, there's lots of pro,s and cons with anything ,especially a jeep ,one of the cons are they stop up from sludge building up in the engine, after a lot of miles and you need to drop the oil pan off and clean it and the head out,i usually remove the valve cover also and clean it all,the rest of the stuff on them is normal wear and tear, that and they will flip with you if you push them to the test, other than that i love driving those things, they have a feeling that they will go anywhere and truthfully they just about will,i have had mine in some bad places before ,and it goes right on,but you have to keep it well maintained ,or it will be like anything else,it will give problems take care of it and it will last a really long time, good luck i hope this helps.,PS i have over 300 thousand on mine right now,and it still looks and runs really good.
