Question:
Need a used car, need opinions comparing b/w Toyota RAV4, Nissan Pathfinder, Saturn Vue, how they drive, dependability,
are they a mechanics nightmare? My Camry had a wicked blind spot on the drivers side, & unfortunately I have the damage to prove it! :) Thanks!
Answers:
Personally, I considered the Chevy Equinox, Ford Escape, Honda CRV, Toyota RAV4, and Saturn Vue. All of these small SUVs are comparable to the ones you mentioned. You probably should look at the expert and user reviews, and reliability ratings on Yahoo! Autos or, at least, this is what I did before I purchased my mine. However, the test drive was a major factor in my final decision.
In the end, I purchased a 2004 Saturn Vue. I have only done routine maintenance because it has been completely reliable and trouble free. Also, a college friend has been please with his 2004 Saturn Vue - Red Line. However, they did not make the Saturn Vue in '00 or '01. Good luck, I hope you find what you're looking for.
I own a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder SE and that is a very nice comfortable ride, everything is prefect, the stereo, seat, and safety. The one thing is the mileage is not that good. I am a full time student and a full time jobs, so i travel from school to work everyday. I have to fill my tank every weeks and it cost me about US 50 to fill the FULL tank. (I use SHELL Super Plus). My friend own Toyota Rav4 and she told me is good on mileage, but the quality of the car is not that good. ( She have a Used Toyota Rav4).
My peugeot 306 makes a knocking noise when turning what could this be?
Hope that help
