This bellhousing should fit a toploader 4 speed and the lightweight 3 speeds from the era (1966).

Car paint job?

I like this swap! It's something I've been wanting to do for a long time, I believe you can use any 3 or 4 speed from a V8, but then you have to change the driveline to match, those early no syncro 1st were weak trannys

What is the 0-60 for the 07 GTI and the 04 R32?

They changed the trannys in 67 to a full syncro like the v8s, thus the larger bell housing.
