You should only use the belt thats made for hte car. using a smaller belt wont help. my belt on my 93 escort got shredded up in a hurrry and the cause was the sensor wires from my antifreeze resevoir was getting caught or rubbed. check around where your belt runs for anything that could cause that. or maybe another pully is cracked or broken. thats all i can tell yaWhich car do u think are faster honda cars are volkswagen cars?
rust on the ridges of the inside of the pulley grooves also ensure that the motor mounts are not broken. check for pulleys out of round.As they said about the motor mounts but usually I see that more after something becomes misaligned like one of the pulleys (check to make sure they are all pretty much in line with each other.. any of them out and it will eat a belt quickly)
