ECU codes for 1998 Audi a4 quattro 2.8 manual?

Question:
I have a1998 Audi a4 2.8 quattro manual. I recently replaced replaced the ECU(4d0 907 551 AH). The odb is reading it as a auto trans. I think reprograming the ecu with the proper code for a manual trans. will aliviate this false reading. Does anyone know the code i need to key in to program the ecu to recongize the manual trans. Please Help. Thanks.
