Anything in the model year 1974 had to be detuned because of emissions regulations and they didn't have a catalytic converter to compensate. This means that it was a headache when it was new. Poor fuel mileage even for a V-8. You'll have that to deal with, plus that this car is over 30 years old and will have that wear and tear to deal with.
