Had squeeking noises from the wheel area since it was new but apparantly this isnt covered under warranty - has anyone else experienced this (UK)?

standard on this model im affraid i have the same car in dci 86 with the same noise the way to resolve this is to add a few drops of thread lock to the rear of the pads when installing them once pads get hot the thread lock holds them in place stopping them rubbing against the discs which in turn stops the squeeking noise. ps renault are aware of this problem however due to the pads being a consumable they are not covered under waranty. most pads when bought have a coating on rear when this gets hot it sticks to the calliper stopping this happening. renault cars are nice to drive but remind me of the old fords you will always find a problem like the wiring under the dash near your steering wheel which keeps vibrating listen out for it. and also the glove box light which does not go out when you shut door there are other problems if you would like a full list let me know steve uk
