Can i put a newer "1996"dash gage in my 1994 ford ranger?

i have a 1994 3.0 ford ranger 4x4 and i would like to have the newer style dash gages with the white back ground for a 1996 or newer? can i just plug it in or will i have to do a lot of moding?

Dash kits and gauges are easy to do. Call any upholstery shop or trim shop, if you are inclined to do it yourself, get the manual for that year, 1994 Ford Ranger , Haynes or Chiltons then read and make certain that you have all the required tools. That is where an Upholstery Shop comes in handy, some of the tools are one purpose. Not economical to buy a $50 set of tools when all you will use is one 14mm or 10mm star point or a Button Tool.
