Headlights on a 1999 pontiac firebird trans am formula?

Question:
Ok so the driver side headlight (the lights the open upwards) when I turn it on its makes a rawwwwwwww sound and only comes up half way I half to pull it up with my hand. Is this something easy to fix or do I need to go to a shop??

Sounds like you need to fix the motor on it. The headlight motor on those goes out after a while, but they are an expensive part, it is cheaper just to turn the motor around, that is what I did on my Trans Am, and it works fine now. For more information on like where the motor is and such go to ls1tech.com and just search headlight motor, that is where I found everything for mine.
