Why does the volvo 940 and s70 only have only one rear fog light?
3.1 liters are very common for intake manifold leaks. They have plastic manifold gaskets that fall apart.
Look for black streaks(coolant trails covered in dirt) coming from the lower intake on the sides
Check under the throttle body for coolant, may have a puddle on the transmission.
1 thing to check is the radiator hoses and clamps
After checking the hoses. you may check the water pump. A leaky gasket by the water pump may result in leaks. usual location is where the fan attaches to the engine block.
Could be any number of things.... They are bad for intake leaks
Next it could be the water pump. Rad , Rad hoses , Cyl heads , heater core , heater hoses Or even the thermo-stat gasket Just to many places it could leak to pin point without seeing the car.
does anyone know the difference between Macpherson strut suspension and double wishbone suspension?

what you have to do is get under the car to determine where it is coming from. If it is from one of the hoses you replace the hose. If it is from the water pump, that needs to be replaced. Water leaks can be seen as they may leave a water trail, if you know what to look for. If the leak is coming from the radiator you have some options. You can buy a new radiator. You can get the radiator recored. If the leak is small, buy some K&W block seal. Read instructions FIRST. This will seal leaks. Now if you spot it coming from the engine block and again it is small you can use the block seal.
