First, I would check the fuse panel, may just need to replace one or two fuses. If those are ok and the bulbs are ok, next thing to check is the housing for the bulb and/or the wiring to it. There may be water gettting in somewhere and shorting something out. Or there could be a loose wire somewhere.

check the front and rear flasher bulbs. Maybe you replaced the wrong bulb. Next, check the fuse. Chances are that if the light lights up, then one of the flasher bulbs is out. It could also be the flasher relay.
