You should have a warranty on your brand new car, so i would go with the dealership. Usually when you let someone else work on your car other than the dealership when it's under warranty, you may lose the warranty.

For most routine maintenance, why not do it yourself? If you don't know how, learn to do it. It's usually easier than you think and more satisfying. Hang onto your receipts for parts and supplies in case a warranty issue ever comes up.

DO NOT GO TO JIFFY LUBE. They were busted on the news a bunch of times. They use the cheapest oil and parts available and half the time they don't even drain all your oil. They will look for any excuse to find something else they can "fix" on your car whether you need it or not and charge you more money. The quick lube places (most of them) are NOT to be trusted.

Pay the extra $10 and go to your Toyota dealer, whom you can trust and get a genuine Toyota oil filter and I suggest using full synthetic motor oil too for the best longevity out of your car.
