This is a good question in that it is an oxymoron. Best and car are not congruous and do not fit in the same sentence. Car and best are now opposites as there is no such thing available in North America unless you pay upwards of $80,000. You can not even ask who makes a good car as there is just no such thing. If you buy it - the only thing guaranteed for certain is that it will break and it will be recalled. That is why we are currently trying trucks. We have found that they are no more reliable and no better made than what they try to pass off on us as cars. Great question, just no possible answer if you want "best" and "car". this is my opinion general motors makes the best car and ford makes the best truck. Ive had several gm cars that ran well over 300,000 miles dependably and a ford truck that has ran 275,000 miles without any major quirks. you can't get much better than that. a lot of people say jap cars are better but I'm not so sure.
