What do you think of PONTIAC SOLTICE?
I really really like the Volvo 240 for a few reasons. One is that, in my opinion it is one of those things that is "built like they used to be". It feels like it is built to last 30 years and they often do if taken care of. Almost any new car you buy now, even very expensive ones, seem to have corners cut, more plastic and styrofoam than they should. Thinner steel, etc. The 240 is built like a bank vault and it's sturdy. It's simple and easy to work on, it's a European car that is actually reliable and not too expensive to maintain. It's a nice European rear-wheel drive car that is classy without having any snobbish elitest image like Mercedes and BMW do. It's just a really down-to-earth, high quality automobile that has very comfortable orthopedically designed seats and outstanding safety. Solid all around transportation that will outlast almost anything and still has rugged good looks after all these years.
