If it's only when going over bumps it could still be the shocks, something could be loose at the top where they mount the body. Get someone to sit in the back, see if they can feel it more there than the front. Also drive it fully loaded and see if the sound disappears. If it does, I'd say it's a shock problem.

If it is more random than that, and you can feel it slightly through the floor pan it could be anti roll bar bushes. There can be play in them even if they loOK ok. Look for small deposits of rubber around them, if they are worn the rubber deposits will be fine black dust like photocopy toner. The bushes may be worn even if you can't see any play in the roll bar.

The first thing to check is the front suspension, it can be possible that given the age of the car that the tie rod ends, wish bone bushes etc are worn. A simple way to check is to jack the car up, take the wheel up and with a crowbar test each of them for excess play.If these are all OK you may need to check the engine mountings as again over time the mounts can perish.
