Chvey truck,350 5.7 2wd,there are 2 types of knock sensors how do i know which one i need?

one is for a truck with over drive and one for one without .i guess my question is how do i know if i have over drive?

My understanding is that there is a year group split on the ignition systems and that determines the knock sensor p/n not the transmission.

Standard location of knock sensor is on the side of the block forward of the starter and it screws into the water jacket of the block and there will be an anti-freeze spill while changing it. FYI
