i read somewhere that they usually only last for a couple of years, is this true?

Does anyone know when the 2008 Chevy Trailblazer will be out?

haha! No that's not true.

King of the Road?

Because headers have a 3/8in thick interface flange for the cylinder head, the gaskets have a tendency to get blown out more often than a manifold's gasket...

I own a ford ranger 2000. problems with charging system please read all below before answering.?

But the headers last a long time.rust being the main enemy.

Believe it or not..?

Get the header, and have it coated with thermal barrier jet hot coating...be sure it has the smog fitting solutions engineered into it. Mount it, run the engine for about 5 minutes.let it cool for 1 hour, retorque and drive on...

I drive a gun metal grey aston martin DB9 is there a cooler car on this tiny planet?

It all depends on the manufacturer, quality and whenre you drive it. Typically, an Ebay header is fine at first but the quality can be poor and they can crack or break/rust. I would go with a more well-known brand such as DC Sports, even OBX is okay for a header, but a no name Ebay brand won't be so good. Also, if you drive somewhere where they use road salt/sand and experience harsh temperature changes, etc, all of these can affect the life of the header.
