Yes it is a tork and you also need a special tool to compress the caliper back in,because these cars rear calipers have to be compressed and turned to the right at the same time to get them back in so your pads will fit right. and you need to take the cap off of the mastercylinder also to let the pressure off.You may be right as to a torx tool needed. On some of the calipers you will need to turn the caliper piston in with a tool to close the piston to its seat in order to get the new pads in, best to take a quick look in a book at an auto parts store and make it simple.
