Question:
1990 Chevy Full Size Cheyenne. Rebuilding front end. Replaced everything and Installed everything correctly. Except the left and right turn signal covers on the front of the grille under the headlights. (Sealed beams). Anyways, I had to order the plastic nuts that hold the covers on, But Chevy ordered the wrong part. The part they ordered is about 3 inches long with a hole on each end to thread the bolt into and clip onto the grille. Problem is, That part is way too big, All I need is the 2 little square nuts that clip onto it. Chevy says they ordered the right part, But I checked a Chevy truck similar to mine and saw indeed, it was the wrong part they ordered. somebody help me find a place that sells this part. THANK YOU

The FORD 500. What do you think? Owners only!?
GO back to your dealer and ask to look at the book ... they have books with diagrams of each part as the fit onto a vehicle .. that is the best way , as you know what it is and where it goes .. then you can just exchange parts while your therego to auto zone in their help section or go to a salvage yard

When ordering the part look in the parts book along with the service person. See what he's looking at. You can tell him if he's right or wrong. Here are a couple of sites you can try:

Dodge Caliber or Volkswagen Rabbit. Why?
Go back to your GM dealer & ask him to show the part you are looking for & verify if it is. Everything for ordering GM parts is on computer so if you're still not sure it's what you want, ask him to print off a copy for you to check at home. There were different styles of headlights for that year so bring your VIN # to make it easier.Or if it's too far to travel ask him to fax it to you. This system works great I've done it lots of times..Good Luck
