Your half right. It designates the line of the car and its factory. the blue bow tie are for the models that have prior year design in them the gold bow tie shows it's the newer options for that line. For example my 2005 Chevy Malibu is the classic line with a blue bow tie. The design of the car and the options in it are the same from the previous year. Where as the 2005 Chevy Malibu maxx has the gold bow tie. It has all the new options and design for the 2005 line. At least that’s how the Dealer explained it too me.What year did the automatic electric hardtop come out on the del sol?
I think it is because it is because the older generation cars get the older generation colored emblems and the newer generation cars get the nower generation colored emblems.so,you can tell it is to show how new generationed they are ! and how good they are !the paint was a different color...the blue emblem maker used blue paint and the gold emblem maker used gold paint this is why.
How many miles can you drive a Ford Windstar before it goes kaput? (On average)?
It has to deal with when they made the car, and the type of car. The older models have the blue bowtie, and some 2005 and newer have the gold bowtiesDoes any1 know about cars especially Renault 19 16V's?
