I just purchased this vehicle from a Chrysler Dealer and the Owner's Manual was not in the vehicle and the Dealer doesn't have it. I also need to know where I can obtain a valet key for the trunk and additional ignition keys. Should the dealer I purchased the car from in NJ have supplied the missing key code, second key and valet key and owner's manual with the car when I purchased it? In any case, I need information where I can obtain the items.

Unfortunatly the extra keys & key codes can only be obtained from a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury dealer & they will not be free or cheap.

My advise to you is this:
Call the dealer that you bought the car from.
Ask if they can set up an appointment with a local FoMoCo dealer for you & pay for the extra keys & the programing.
They might be able to do this by arranging a P.O. number from their parts dept to the FoMoCo dealer parts dept..
Tell them you already obtained the owners manuals (don't tell them they were FREE from ME) & that it woulld be "good natured" of them to foot the other half of the bill ...after all YOU just spent ( X ) amount of $$$$ with THEM. NOT the FoMoCo dealer.

It will cost a few dollars but don't waste a lot of time and effort. Stop by a Mercury dealership. As new as the car is they may have one in stock but if they don't they can certainly get one for you.Does ne 1 know where i can find an owner's manual for a 1996 silverad extended cab?
